Re-engineer Cybersecurity Processes Or Face Digital Transformation Failure, Says New Report
According to a new report by Forbes Insights, in association with BMC, “Enterprises Re-engineer Security in the Age of Digital Transformation,” CEOs across North America and Europe have been waging a high-stakes battle to ward off ambitious competitors, maintain market share and address the changing demands of a digital world. This is a once-in-a-generation challenge for any business leader, but it’s not the whole story. Behind the scenes, a fourth imperative is being added to the list of transformation considerations—fighting off modern cybercriminals.
Security managers are seeing upheaval within their own organizations as they adopt new security policies and technologies designed to keep pace with the changes happening within business units. The report, based on a survey of 308 executives in North America and Europe, found that 69% of senior executives are rethinking their cybersecurity strategy because of digital transformation.
